I want to thank the Nyalunya Secondary School BOM and PA members for their cooperation in handling the affairs of the school heartily and for extending their support to our committed teachers in uplifting the standards of our school.
Discipline is evident among our students hence thanks to the Principal and the Teachers for the hard work.
The outcome of the academic results has been steady by moving up each year since 2009 when the first KSCE Examinations. In the year 2014, the school produced the best results by achieving the first grade A minus for the young school and sending five students for direct entry into our public universities and many more parallel students for degrees courses.
I want to thankthe principal Mr. George Nyakoyo Onyango and his deputy Mrs. Jane Awuor Awere for their good approach in management of teachers and students and involvement of parents in the school management too. This has enabled peace to prevail.
On infrastructural developments, I want to thank the former area MP, Mr. Gor Sungu for starting the school for the Nyalunya community. The school students’ enrolment gives the good picture of the school.
From the first five classrooms by the CDF through Hon. Gor Sungu, the current M.P Hon. Shakeel Shabir is about to complete a science laboratory and is currently in use.
The PA is currently undertaking a number of projects in the school to alleviate classrooms’ shortages and departments. With support from stakeholders, all will be well as Nyalunya School gears up towards academic excellence.
May the Almighty God continue to Bless the school; Amen.
